The first Bentley Motors-branded luxury residential development broke ground in Miami as the British automaker leverages its brand and design sensibility to the lucrative real estate sector.

Spanning 2.4 acres on the former Thunderbird Hotel site, the Bentley Residences Miami tower is situated at 18401 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach. Bentley partnered with Miami developer Dezer Development on the project that will be completed by the end of 2027.

“A demonstration of our commitment to great design, the development will create a living experience that expresses the very philosophy of the Bentley brand,” said Christophe Georges, president/CEO of Bentley Motors Inc., in a statement.

Apartments at the Bentley Residences Miami start at $5.6 million. Sales and marketing is being handled in partnership between Dezer Platinum Realty and Douglas Elliman Development Marketing.

Lift in standards
Featuring four car lifts and glass-cased sky garages that exhibit cars like art in each of the 216 private residences, the luxury condominium will rise 62 stories and offer sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway.

Designed by Sieger Suarez Architects in partnership with Bentley Motors, Bentley Residences will integrate Bentley’s most distinctive design codes into its architecture and interiors, per the auto brand.

The iconic diamond-quilted pattern adorning Bentley door panels, for example, will be recreated on the tower’s façade through diamond-shaped glass panels angled meticulously to refract natural light. As a result, the exterior will glimmer in the sunlight.

These same patterns and silhouettes are echoed throughout the building, including the diamond-embossed stone in the primary bathrooms and the diamond-shaped floor tiles spanning the lobby.

At the heart of Bentley Residences is the patented car elevator that transports both car and passengers from the road directly to a resident’s doorstop in one swift move.

The Dezervator, named after its founder, Gil Dezer, creates a lifestyle for buyers centered around exclusivity and privacy. The innovation makes three- and four-car sky garages within each residence possible and offers convenient, secure storage for private car collections.

Complete with the option for EV charging amenities, these sky garages also provide additional space for storage and small motorized vehicles such as wave runners and motorcycles.

Home suite home
The private homes at Bentley Residences embrace the concept of indoor-outdoor living and offer large private outdoor spaces with unobstructed views that stretch the shoreline.

Every individual balcony will have a private heated swimming pool, summer kitchen and generous living area specially engineered to cut through any gusty winds so that residents can easily light a candle even 30 floors in the air, per the company.

This sensibility is continued inside to the home interiors. Kitchens feature Gaggenau appliances, Italian-designed cabinetry and motorized doors that hide the space with a wave of the hand, while the primary bathrooms double as home spas with private saunas, behind-mirror TVs and outdoor showers in select residences.

As with the façade, the interiors also feature subtle nods to the Bentley brand. The iconic diamond patterning, as well as its chrome finishes and unique textured door handles, knobs and pulls, are incorporated in small but impactful ways that will resonate with Bentley brand enthusiasts.

The property will feature a lushly landscaped beach club and oceanfront pool deck complete with food and beverage service, cabanas and spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, as well as a 20,000-square-foot collection of amenities including a whiskey bar, cigar lounge, wellness and revitalization spa, cinema and oceanfront beauty salon.

Four-time James Beard award-winning celebrity chef Todd English will curate the menu and dining experience for an exclusive private restaurant, which also offers catering, demonstrations, and food and wine pairings to residents, per Bentley.

"Breaking ground on Bentley Residences is a huge milestone for the project and another step closer to bringing our vision to life,” said Gil Dezer, president of Dezer Development, in a statement.
